In this role, you will directly influence the success of key projects, ensuring the successful delivery of Construction, Industrial and Residential contracts. Based in Churchill, Victoria, you will play a central role in overseeing project execution, leading a team of Project Supervisors/Leading Hands, and ensuring all contracts are completed on schedule, within budget, and in full adherence to safety and quality standards.We are Waco.Waco Kwikform Ltd is part of Waco International, a leading global commercial and industrial services business focusing on the hire, sale and manufacture of formwork, shoring, scaffolding equipment and associated labour services.In Australia and New Zealand Waco Kwikform is recognised as a leading provider of safe, engineered access solutions to both construction and industry supplying some of the largest industrial commercial and residential construction, energy, mining and petrochemical, civil engineering, and entertainment projects.In Churchill we have key working relationships with a number of large clients in the commercial, industrial, power and mining industry.Who are you?You have relevant trade qualifications in Buildings Trades and construction safety certifications. You are an experienced Operations Manager who has solid experience overseeing multiple Construction, Industrial maintenance, Large residential and Shutdown projects.You are familiar with current project management tools and systems and have run large crews across multiple locations.You have technical expertise of scaffolding and similar products gained from your working knowledge of the construction industry, preferably from working in a similar environment and will have previously been responsible for supervising construction and industrial trades.You understand how to interpret plans, contracts and drawings and do not compromise on doing things safely. You have demonstrated your ability to expertly manage projects on time and within budget.You also have a current drivers license with a good driving history and will go the extra mile to demonstrate the value of our service offer and provide cost effective solutions to solve our customers needs.You love to stand out from the crowd and be recognised and rewarded for your efforts by customers and peers alike. Enjoying yourself at work is a good thing and adaptability has been key to your success to date.You are either a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.What will you do?You will be leading and managing the Operations Team on site execution of assigned Construction, Industrial and large Residential contracts.Overseeing a team of Project Supervisors, you will be measured on safety performance, DIFOT and Project Budget.You are responsible for managing cost within budget and developing the project schedules, manning levels, design and scope compliance, ensuring Handover Certificates and identification of all variations for compliant Contract Administration.You will work closely with the Sales and Contracts teams to ensure outstanding customer experience.Liaise with scaffolding supervisors and yard manager to ensure adequate resource planning and material supply for projects.Review and monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support where necessary.You are the primary interface between the client and the Company on all project delivery matters and are ultimately responsible for the coordination and management all labour and sub-contractors, time and attendance, equipment delivery and return from site, Company policy adherence, verification of competencies and labour productivity on assigned contracts.There will be frequent travel across the Victoria Region and from time to time you may also be asked to travel interstate.Successful candidates will be required to complete background checks including a pre-employment medical which involves drug and alcohol screening.If this is the career opportunity you are looking for, submit your resume below or send directly to (emailprotected)How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years'' experience do you have as an operations manager?How many years'' experience do you have in the construction industry?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?How many years of people management experience do you have?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?What''s your expected annual base salary? #J-18808-Ljbffr
