Together we will strengthen Australias renowned vocational education and training industry and propel it to the world stage.The RoleThe Course Coordinator role is responsible for providing high level administration support and coordination to the Faculty of Tech Sciences.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides high level support to the Faculty of Tech Sciences for the day-to-day operations of the school throughout the various campuses.Facilitates the adoption of a system culture, philosophy and skill level across Faculty of Tech Sciences that is consistent with education and training best practice.Coordinate, support and participate in tasks and projects in relation to the scope of registration, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement practices of the Training Organisation (RTO) operations.Demonstrate and apply proven high-level knowledge and understanding of training packages and curriculum requirements including innovative program design, development, and implementation within an education/training environment.Be accountable for the information, data records, retention as required by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:Managing contact with students on compliance with school''s policy related to their responsibilities while studying with the RTO.Managing communication with the students on behalf of the faculty.Assisting students in day-to-day problems related to course delivery and assignment submissions.Recording and monitoring the students attendance, course progress and following up with the students who are at risk of not maintaining satisfactory course progress to make sure that they follow the relevant policy.Providing friendly and effective support, assistance and general advice to the students in person and on the phone/by email on day-to-day issues.Ensuring all the training package requirements have been met by the student prior to issuing any qualification.Creating, updating, and maintaining student files electronically (using JobReady) and in hard copies.Reporting and providing administrative support to the manager, including making appointments, record-keeping and filing.Preparation of completion certificates and other necessary documents.Other related tasksAssist in developing and monitoring the Intervention Strategy Plan (ISP).Attend academic meetings and other staff meetings to ensure the improvement of the schools academic system.Participate in internal and external audits required by Quality Assurance department and any regulators (e.g., Australian Skills Quality Authority).Exercise duty of care in dealings with students, and staff members.Comply with the colleges policies and procedures.Report any concerns/difficulties regarding work-related tasks to Supervisor and other relevant parties for the improvement.Comply with the MF Group HR Centre Pty Ltd Code of Conduct.Perform other ad hoc duties relevant to the position as required.Experience and Skills RequiredCapacity to relate well with students and peers at all levels.Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to prioritise work and follow procedures and processes.Attention to detail and work accurately under pressure.Demonstrated ability in working co-operatively and effectively as a member of a team.Must hold a driving license and having a car will be preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in English, exceptional writing skills & leadership skills.Good IT skills and digital literacy experience.WWCC and police check may be required.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:How many years'' experience do you have as a Course Coordinator?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia? #J-18808-Ljbffr
