We have the fourth highest percentage of female partners according to the AFR Law Partnership Survey, July 2024.We value technical excellence and collegiality, offer a great workplace culture and excellent opportunities to further your career, whether you are just starting out, are an experienced lawyer or a business services professional.About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Lawyer to join our public liability practice group on a permanent, full-time basis.Working directly with a Partner who has a passion for training and mentorship, this hands-on role will see you working alongside other lawyers in the team on a variety of matters involving construction-related property damage claims, public liability, property and recoveries claims, with a particular focus on:Domestic building insurance and defect claimsPlumbers liability schemeVCAT appearance work and general litigationThe versatility in the services provided by this collegiate and high performing team is of particular interest to domestic and international insurers as well as commercial construction clients.About youOur ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years PAE, with a genuine passion and interest in the areas of litigation, insurance and construction law.
