We have the fourth highest percentage of female partners according to the AFR Law Partnership Survey, July 2024.We value technical excellence and collegiality, offer a great workplace culture and excellent opportunities to further your career, whether you are just starting out, are an experienced lawyer or a business services professional.About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a junior Lawyer to join our Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne on a permanent, full-time basis.Working directly with a Partner who has a passion for training and mentorship, this hands-on role will see you working alongside other lawyers in the broader litigation team on a variety of matters involving commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on corporate reconstruction and insolvency, personal insolvency, property and leasing disputes, contractual breaches, franchising, defamation law and Corporations Act matters.Working for a range of high net worth individuals and leading Australian businesses, this is a truly mixed role, with approximately half of your workload in commercial litigation and dispute resolution and the other half in insolvency.About youOur ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years PAE, with a genuine passion and interest in the areas of commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency.
