The CIO Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses, and are seeking experienced and motivated Project Managers to assist with major ICT Projects in the Division.Key duties and responsibilitiesProject Managers will be required to:Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers.Research, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project or program initiatives.Negotiate and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and collaboration for timely and successful outcomes.Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges.Provide management, coordination, governance and assurance of complex projects.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver agreed outcomes.Represent the team and branch in project governance meetings and provide clear up to date reports on status and the implications of risks on projects to ensure the success of projects.Oversee project resources to ensure a high performing, motivated and well-developed team that delivers results.Use project management tools to drive successful outcomes, covering areas such as risk management, quality management, financial management, procurement, strategy, resource management, project briefs and post-implementation reviews.The successful applicant must cite relevant work experience and skills of interest including:Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams to deliver critical and complex programs of work, particularly in ICT.Strong ability to translate business requirements into prioritised application development tasks.Experience in ensuring best development industry practices are implemented.Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand the audience, adapt to the context, and tailor communication effectively.If you meet these requirements, please apply now or for a confidential discussion please call Athena Yung on 0491 451 213 or reach out athena.yung@persolkelly.com.auPERSOLKELLY strives for diversity, inclusion, and equality of our people.
