Risk & Compliance ManagerLarge multi-campus Christian schoolDrouin locationOngoing position (0.6 FTE)Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Risk & Compliance Manager based at our Drouin campus, commencing in Term 3 this year.The Risk & Compliance Manager will assist the Executive Principal in managing the schools risk and compliance across all campuses. Key responsibilities include:Setting a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships, and general lifestyle.Collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and develop appropriate risk management systems, procedures, and controls.Training new staff members in risk and compliance awareness and implementation.Working closely with staff members to ensure risk and compliance obligations are met.Regularly evaluating, planning, documenting, and auditing appropriate culture, systems, processes, and practices.The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in a leadership role within a school setting and possess the following important characteristics:Demonstrated commitment to the schools Statement of Faith.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to develop plans, systems, and processes.Friendly and professional demeanor.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Diligent and meticulous work habits with a keen eye for detail.Ability to build strong relationships and communication channels with all members of the school community.The safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
