Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.Today we employ over 1800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.The Role:We are seeking local MC Drivers to join the team in Rocklea for local pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading, and load restraint of freight.These roles are full-time permanent positions.Rosters available:Tuesday to Saturday, 6am startSunday to Thursday, 6am startPrimary duties of the role include:Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runsEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technologyInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freightAbout You:The candidates we are looking for will:Hold a current & valid MC licence (as a minimum)Have experience in relevant licence class and reversing onto docksSwinglifter experience highly valuedPossess a current MSIC &/or ASIC card (or willingness to obtain)Demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safetyExhibit a motivated and positive attitudeBe reliable and punctual with good communication skillsHave Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)Show flexibility with start & finish times with the willingness to work weekendsPrevious refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.To be successful for this role applicants must:Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic print outOther benefits include:Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Competitive ratesSalary packaging optionsSafety focused organisationWe pride ourselves on working in a way that brings our Values to life every day.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe Lindsay Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
