The role reports through to the CEO Communications teams, part of Strategic Communications.This role is pivotal in the design, delivery, and execution of high-quality events that contribute to ANZs reputation. As a member of the Events team, you will be responsible for organising highly visible and well-regarded events that support our CEO, Executive Committee, customers, and staff. Your innovative ideas and meticulous attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of internal and external events.We are looking for someone who is not only passionate and creative but also possesses strong organisational and communication skills.Role Type: Permanent, Full-TimeRole Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Work Hours: Standard HoursWhat will your day look like?This role is accountable for:Assisting with the planning and coordination of ANZ Group-wide events. This includes working with the CEO Communications Team to deliver CEO led events, including ANZ Leadership Conference, Teams webcasts, customer events, townhalls and CEO roadshows.Assisting with the planning and coordination of customer marketplaces, employee engagement events and school holiday programs.Support in managing complex event schedules and logistics for multiple events at a time.Playing a key support role to successfully deliver major events, and also managing smaller events end-to-end, once proficient.Developing and maintaining relationships and collaborating with colleagues in Property, Technology, Procurement and Catering.Providing onsite event support and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.Maintaining detailed event records and documentation.Set-up and maintenance of events and contact cards using ANZs approved event management platform.Contributing to the continuous improvement of event processes and procedures.Coordinate the efficient and timely processing of purchase requisitions and invoices related to events.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.A passion for delivering exceptional events and contributing innovative ideas.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Ability to think on your feet and handle challenges with confidence and composure.Background in one or more of the following disciplines - Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business or related work experience.Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Powerpoint).Sound project and time management skills.Youre not expected to have 100% of these skills.
