Carlton based role.Offering Above Industry General Award wagesWork for an organisation that is making a differenceSupportive and inclusive cultureA dynamic team environment with a strong focus on health & safetyMonday to Friday only, NO weekend work!What youll doA day in the life of our Loading Dock & Waste Coordinator/ Security Officer is incredibly diverse, and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:Perform safe and correct operation of Loading Dock functionsPerform Security Officer services as requiredComplete receipt and dispatch activitiesInput of information into electronic systems (e.g. SAP, Veyor, Sharepoint, Gallagher etc.) and maintain up-to-date recordsPerform all manual handling duties using correct equipmentMaintain all equipment and premises in a clean and serviceable conditionProvide professional, efficient and timely customer service to all stakeholdersCoordinate waste servicesFacilitate subcontractor managementYou will have to adhere to strict compliance requirements due to the client being a leading biotech company, undergoing extensive training to gain access to all required areas of the facilityWhat youll bringSecurity licenceWorking with children checkFirst Aid qualificationKnowledge of structured safety, legislative and regulatory frameworksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTech savvy with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and ability to learn new systemsAbility to multitask and switch between tasks easilyMore than anything, youll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the business and our customers.Why work for us?Working for the Downer Group means every day you will be enabling our communities to thrive.
