We are built on a passion for retail, dedication, and a commitment to making our customers'' experience more enjoyable every time.Bakers Delight Edgeworth & Bakers Delight Cardiff are seeking multiple motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Qualified Bakers to join the bakery.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight standards as per BDH recipe; training will be provided for BDH recipe.Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.Mixing, scaling, and dividing dough as required.Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods.Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, and edible toppings.Maintaining cleanliness of machines, tools, and premises, and abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff, and contractors.Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, etc.To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following selection criteria:Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4 AM).Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.Ability to train, develop, and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department.Applicants with a minimum of 1 years experience and/or Certificate III in Baking as a Baker will have an advantage for this role.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years'' experience do you have as a baker?Do you have professional baking experience?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you have professional cake decorating experience?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent/misleading/discriminatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
