With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, Advantage Feeders are leading the way helping farmers save time and money while maximising nutritional benefit to animals.Due to continued growth and product development, the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been created to free the business owner, Gerard Roney, from the day to day leadership and management of the business, allowing him to focus on business development, business growth and innovation. The CEO will work hand in hand with Gerard, to ensure the business is well positioned to support the continued growth and innovation, while delivering on its strategic priorities.This is a hands on role with a strong focus on people; internally leading, managing, mentoring and developing a high performing team and externally building and maintaining strong mutually beneficial relationships with national and international distributors, customers, suppliers and industry associations.Your key areas of responsibility will include:Leadership, Culture and People Management; mentor, coach and develop a team of 15Engineering, Innovation and Product Development; Oversee, support and drive initiatives, help manage the achievement of project timelines and quality standardsMarketing; support the development of a global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with sales and engineering prioritiesOperational Performance; lead the development, review and implementation of the strategic plan, manage operational / business unit plans and report on progressFinancial Management; Lead the financial management of the business, monitor financial performance and make recommendations to drive profitabilityStakeholder Management; cultivate and manage relationships across a broad range of stakeholders to build the brand and reputation of the business, nationally and internationally.Success in this new role will require first and foremost a high level of initiative, motivation and a commitment to achieving outcomes and being accountable. You will value data to make decisions, be a strategic thinker who can think long term to find solutions to position the business for sustainable growth. You will have a proven track record in building high performing teams and culture change; scaling a business through the development, coaching, mentoring and empowerment of team members will come naturally to you. Building trust, influencing, negotiating comfortable navigating feedback conversations will be second nature to you.Previous experience in a leadership and management role is essential, you will have a proven track record in successfully managing the operations and finances of a business or large department. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline will be highly regarded. A passion and/or interest for the agriculture sector will be viewed favorably.
