You will be part of an inclusive and supportive team, reporting to the Training Lead, and will be employed on a permanent full time basis.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.Key responsibilities include:Perform technical training analysis, design, development and implementation activitiesDevelop technical training curriculum and implement technology based training solutionsUndertake training gap analysis to identify and assess program training requirements and technical training proceduresReview maritime equipment/systems manuals and assess personnel and training requirementsProvide maritime technical training specialisation skills and advice to support the programCollaborate effectively and build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive cultureConduct training design user testing and validate training designs and resourcesSeek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve training design practicesAbout YOUExtensive Defence Maritime technical trade/production experienceGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and develop effective relationships with stakeholdersGood computer skills and experience using the Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivation, a willingness to learn and a strong understanding of safe work practicesWhilst not essential, technical training designer/developer experience, or marine technician experience in electrical, or propulsion or hull domains will be highly regardedWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don''t tick all the boxes.
