The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing marketing relationships and outcomes for Volunteering Gold Coast. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the Volunteering Gold Coast brand, marketing strategy, and communication campaigns. This position will contribute to the delivery of best-practice and innovative marketing and communication strategies.OPERATIONS EXCELLENCEAct as VGCs Marketing Manager, be accountable for all marketing activities at VGC and play a critical role in overseeing the development of long term partnerships that a mutually beneficial for VGC and prospective partners.Set specific marketing & communications strategy planning (Mid-term/Yearly marketing strategy, Product portfolio strategy) that aligns with the overall corporate direction and business goals.Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and Integrated Marketing Communication, Channel, Pricing, etc.Develop and executive communications across external channels including events and round tables.Manager risk by overseeing the media risk registry and providing executive leadership with media training, briefing, and regular intelligence on emerging issues.Assist in daily media reporting and monitoring to ensure all leaders are across emerging issues.Collaborate cross-functionally ensuring a positive public image and consistent media coverage for the company initiatives, programs/ actions, and objectives.Develop strong, positive, direct relationships with media and content partners and agencies.Coach and mentor brand spokespeople at any level of the business.Create and manage all media engagement including events, activations, brand/product endorsements, and sponsored editorial.Lead public relations including developing media relations, storylines, pitching to media, securing reactive media, speaking and presentation opportunitiesLead company branding and messaging; externally and internallyPUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS EXCELLENCEManage and report on all aspects of corporate and consumer Public Relations (including short & long-lead media, digital, and influencer).Provide Public Relations counsel to management on issues that impact brand sentiment.Report on campaign and partnership activity on a regular basisResponsible for corporate messaging development and distributionPosition VGC to engage with donors, supporters, philanthropy through marketing actions.MARKETING MANAGEMENT & ENGAGEMENTConduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
