Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.East Kalgoorlie Primary School (EKPS) is situated on the eastern fringe of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Williamstown. Our students reside all over the city, 94% of whom are Aboriginal. With one of the lowest Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) in the state at 648, it is a priority that we engage with our community and stakeholders to develop strong structures and supports so every child can achieve no matter of their location or personal circumstance. We are seeking Teachers who have outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate effectively and build genuine relationships with parents, students, and staff members. Suitable applicants who can quickly establish a positive and welcoming classroom environment with high expectations, and a growth mindset, while building students positive social and emotional skills would be highly regarded.Suitable applicants will ideally possess exemplary teaching skills, be highly motivated, and hold themselves accountable for delivering best practices.
