Pathology Laboratory Aide - Reference S639Data Entry Clerk Reference S640Southern.IML Pathology has vacancies for full-time Pathology Laboratory Aide and a Full-Time Data Entry Operator to work in the Pre-Analytical at the Coniston Laboratory.The successful applicant must be highly motivated, keen to learn, and able to work quickly and accurately in a busy department. Applicants will have a professional telephone manner with good communication skills. While no formal qualifications in pathology are required for this position, medical and/or pathology terminology would be beneficial.Both of these positions are an integral part of the laboratory operations.Essential CriteriaDeal with clients in a professional manner.Ability to use positive language using clear communication.Accuracy demonstrating the ability to pay attention to details.Provide information to clients in a competent, clear, and concise manner.Proven troubleshooting skills to resolve matters as they arise.Be proactive in dealing with clients.Multitask.Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a busy department.Flexibility to work a range of shifts.Desirable CriteriaMedical and/or pathology experience.Medical terminology.Keyboard skills of at least 50wpm.Applicants must indicate the position they are applying for by quoting the reference number on their application and addressing the essential requirements for the position.Shift times in a rotating roster will be between 7:30am 11:00pm Monday to Friday.
