We have the perfect role for you!We are looking to establish a pool of experienced high performing Level 5 & 6 policy officers who can apply their skills to contribute to the success of our team. Your attention to detail, adaptable nature, well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to remain agile will be key to your success in this role.As a Senior Policy Officer (L5), you will undertake a range of policy and legislative projects and functions to promote the safe and sustainable use of navigable waters. You will be working on key projects within a dynamic Maritime Policy environment. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, along with your ability to interpret legislation and convey that information to a wide range of audiences will be key to your success in the role.As a Principal Policy Officer (L6), you will develop a suite of policies for commercial leasing, licensing and permits to provide guidance to staff working under the Transport Portfolio, Land and Property Services office (TPLPS). Reporting to the Manager Policy, and alongside the Maritime Policy team, your expertise will be essential for reviewing and implementing comparative analysis of legislation and developing policies and procedures in relation to property administration.These positions work with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels, from support officers to contract consultants and senior management. Your ability to interpret complex policies and strategies will be integral to advising on solutions for internal stakeholders.
