HanRoy are currently looking for an Electrical Construction Supervisor with experience working on remote minesite construction projects in Western Australia. Reporting to the Construction Manager and Construction Superintendent, this role will provide guidance and governance from an electrical perspective to the HanRoy McPhee Iron Ore Construction Project. The primary purpose of the Electrical Supervisor is to support the project to meet its business targets through providing:Leadership support across the projectElectrical problem-solving input to the projectGovernance of standards and safe electrical practices from a legal and statutory perspectiveDuties and Responsibilities:Be the lead electrical resource for the project and take accountability for the electrical aspect of the construction projectIdentify and define opportunities to improve costs and electrical equipment risks.Provide a conduit between contract electrical personnel and project leadershipProvide technical leadership to the project (where required) and set direction for best electrical installation and commissioning practicesLiaise with HSE and construction teams to ensure works are carried out in line with site requirements.Coordinate with key Supervisors, Superintendents and Construction Managers the planning of works, materials and resources.Ensure alignment of subcontractors and critical interfaces.Complete daily reports and fulfill reporting requirements.Sound knowledge of mining operations from NPI, pit to processing with a solid understanding of construction and operational requirements.Identify, anticipate and manage issues; bring authority and influence to the team and able to leverage lessons learned from past experiencesMinimum 10 years relevant experience in heavy industry, mining, energy or constructionExperience with major construction projects, maintenance and operationsBachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Trade qualification as an Electrician/Instrumentation Technician.Minimum 6 years experience in contractor management, ideally with multiple contractors.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with external/internal stakeholders.The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business owners, key stakeholders, peers and other audiencesGood report writing skillsStrong skills using software applications such as Visio, Excel, Word & PowerPointSelf-motivated and driven with a can do attitudeCurrent Drivers LicenseStrong leadership skills and ability to drive construction programs.The ability to work away on 12/9 FIFO roster from Perth.Contract position until early 2026Why UsAt HanRoy, we value fresh thinking and an adaptive approach within a cutting-edge project environment.
