Senior Finance Manager - $190k Package + BonusLocation: Sydney, NSWSalary Package: $190,000 Package + BonusRole OverviewReporting to a highly experienced and seasoned Group Financial Controller, this Senior Finance Manager will take full ownership of all aspects of statutory reporting, compliance, and business financial reporting. Taking responsibility for mentoring and development of a small team, as the Senior Finance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for end-to-end month-end processes and the group consolidation, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role that will require you to provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and ensure compliance with financial regulation. A key part of your role will also be to support strategic projects including business growth driven by M&A. Therefore, a passion for business improvement will be critical for success in this role.There are many project opportunities that will be given to this Senior Finance Manager allowing you to demonstrate your capability, potential, and career-focused mindset. You must be hungry for climbing the corporate ladder and will be groomed and mentored into a Senior leadership role, either in commercial, M&A, or group controllership. A clear pathway for promotion will open up within 18 - 24 months.ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of statutory financial statements for ASX publication ensuring quality output is delivered and compliance with AASB accounting standardsEnd-to-end responsibility for Internal and External Financial periodic reportingOversight of outsourced Tax, Accounts Payable, and PayrollLead key transformation and change projects along with the CFO and senior management teamProvide key support to business growth particularly M&A activitiesInvolvement in the budgeting process to support strategic planningStakeholder Management and influenceDirect management and development of 2 peopleCandidate ProfileBeing either a CPA or CA qualified finance leader, you are currently sitting in a Financial reporting role in a listed organisation. You have a strong technical training background, ideally developed through Big 4 or Mid-tier chartered training. You come out of complex and fast-paced organisations and are now looking for a company that will invest in your growth and fast track your progression towards a CFO of a listed business. You are extremely resilient by nature and have a natural coaching and mentoring leadership style. You are energetic and forward-thinking and on problem-solving and taking on challenges.
