Smartgroup is looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in our business development efforts. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our mission to secure new business and retain existing clients, making a significant impact on our growth and success. You will collaborate closely with Bid Managers and the Business Development team, ensuring that our bids and proposals are of the highest quality and meet all deadlines.To be successful at Smartgroup you will need:Strong communication skills, with a highly developed ability in both written and verbal communication, and a strong grasp of grammar, syntax, and spelling.High attention to detail when reviewing content to ensure accuracy and compliance.Ability to work flexibly across competing priorities and meet deadlines, demonstrating effective time management.Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional teams, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, along with basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel.Experience in a comparable role in a B2B sales environment, with exposure to government, not-for-profit, and corporate client requirements and procurement methods being highly desirable.Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.Capacity to adapt and learn, remain resilient, and manage an increasingly complex and ambiguous environment.Deadline-driven and committed to achieving high personal standards and following through on commitments.Belong to an organisation that values diversity, inclusivity, and you:Working at Smart, means you will be working in one of Australia''s most authentic, inclusive, and diverse workplaces.Team members enjoy many benefits and ''perks'' that genuinely value them for who they are.
