Ultimo NSW Location Permanent, Part-time hours (15.2hours/week) Base salary $96K paid on a pro rata basis The Role Saturday Extra, ABC Radio National''s flagship weekend program, is looking for an experienced, energetic part-time audio producer to join its small team. The position is in the ABC''s Ultimo offices and applicants should be able to start in May, 2025. The Job Provide editorial and creative input to shape the program. Develop original story ideas and briefs on complex topics. Collaborate with a presenter and direct live studio broadcasts. Support digital content to grow the audience. Position Description: 30003080 PRODUCER.pdf About You The successful applicant has a thorough understanding of national and international affairs, an eye on the zeitgeist and a talent for turning ideas into lively radio. A good contact book, an ability to write clear scripts and background briefs and a working knowledge of audio studio production are essential qualifications. You''ll also have: Proven ability to produce engaging radio programs for target audiences. Ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, expertise in live studio directing and stakeholder management. Advanced knowledge of using digital platforms to engage audiences.
