Everyone at AGL is an important part of building a better energy future and we want you to join in.About the roleThe Engineering Lead, Web role is a people leader role that is responsible for technical strategy, design, roadmap, development and maintenance of digital technology capabilities for AGLs My Account web portal and applications. This involves providing technical thought leadership and direction for a portfolio of digital assets, working in conjunction with Delivery Managers and scrum teams to manage the overall build and run of digital services and solutions, on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with relevant development standards.This will be a 24 month maximum-term role, based in Melbourne.What youll be doingLead and define the vision and roadmap for the Web applications engineering capability.Provide best practice engineering thought leadership to the CMT engineering community, keeping abreast of new technologies and development techniques, tools and trends.Along with peers in other technical domains, drive the re-use of architectural components across the technology stack.Create and instil engineering standards, patterns, guardrails & practices within the Identity domain, ensuring adherence whilst fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
