Every team member at Warrigal contributes to this legacy, ensuring it continues to inspire generations to come.The opportunityThe Policy Manager will lead the development and implementation of policies across Warrigal, ensuring they align with legislative requirements and best practices. This role involves creating a comprehensive policy framework, simplifying access to policies, and producing clear and effective policy documentation. The Policy Manager will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure policies are relevant, compliant, and effective, while continuously monitoring their impact.The role also requires staying informed about emerging trends, legislative changes, and industry best practices to guide policy decisions. Additionally, the Policy Manager will provide strategic advice to senior leaders, represent Warrigal in policy forums, and foster collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to shape the organisations policy landscape and contribute to its ongoing success.The benefitsHourly rate $46.62- $69.82 - based on experience + packaging benefits + superNot For Profit salary packaging benefits pay up to $18,550 less tax per year, meaning more money for youCareer break schemes, additional purchased leave and moreCommitment to ongoing professional and career developmentSubsidised access to your local gym and 200+ more across the country with a Fitness Passport24/7 access to mental, physical, social and financial support via the LifeWorks appThe requirementsBachelors degree in public policy, law, social sciences, governance, or a related field.Extensive and demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation, preferably with a focus on the aged care or health sectors.Proven experience in drafting and creating organisational policy frameworks.Ability to effectively communicate the role of policies and procedures in complex care environments.Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders.Experience in stakeholder consultation and engagement.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.What our people love about working here:A supportive, passionate culture: Its a community filled with inspiring, big-hearted people.
