This vision comes alive through our exceptional educators and teachers, guided by strong leadership teams.As an ASX listed growth company, were committed to empowering, rewarding, and supporting every team member from our centre educators to our leadership and support team.The OpportunityThe Investigator is responsible for conducting thorough investigations, utilising due process and detailed documentation, into child safety incidents or allegations, compliance breaches, incidents under the Reportable Conduct Scheme, whistleblower complaints, WH&S, G8 Education policies and procedures and other complaints, allegations or issues as part of G8s Investigation Framework.This role is a national role with investigations occurring across the G8 business and centre network.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough and objective investigations into child safety incidents or allegations, compliance breaches, incidents under the Reportable Conduct Scheme, whistleblower complaints, WH&S, G8 Education policies and procedures and other complaints, allegations or issues as part of G8s Investigation Framework.Ensure all investigations are completed within agreed timeframes, in accordance with due process, legislative standards, company guidelines, and government requirements.Apply a consistent investigative methodology across the organisation.Prepare comprehensive reports with clear conclusions, identification of contributing factors and root causes, and recommended actions based on relevant policies and guidelines.Identify opportunities for continual improvement in service standards, policies, organisational processes, and practices.Communicate and implement improvement opportunities identified during investigations.Contribute to the enhancement of G8s national Investigation Framework.Collect and analyse data throughout the investigation process to identify exceptions, trends, and key risk indicators.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide support throughout the investigation process.About YouA Diploma of Childrens Services or equivalent qualification in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Investigations or Industrial Relations is highly desirableExperience conducting employee investigationsKnowledge of Reportable Conduct SchemesKnowledge of best practice investigation methodologiesExcellent knowledge of legislative, regulatory, risk and policy framework affecting the requirements of government corporationsDemonstrated interpersonal and communications skills for conducting interviews, well developed report writing skills and proven and effective stakeholder management skillsAdaptable, and able to change focus on short notice and to work within tight deadlinesHold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.Benefits at G8Competitive salary packageEligibility to participate in our Short-Term Incentive program which is an annualised bonus each yearHybrid working conditions with 3 days in office and 2 from homeYou have the option to choose out of our two state-of-the-art support offices.
