Join us and be part of a team making a real impact.The OpportunityOur Beverage Can Division in Clayton is seeking an Electrical Coordinator to oversee the electrical maintenance and reliability function. This hands-on role will oversee a team of electricians and contractors, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising electrical systems across high-speed production lines and automation systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate preventative and corrective electrical maintenance to maximise plant uptime.Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 4024, and other electrical safety standards.Supervise and develop a team of industrial electricians and contractors.Troubleshoot and optimise PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred).Support capital and automation projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.Maintain up-to-date electrical schematics, maintenance records, and CMMS data integrity.What You Will Bring to the TeamLicensed Electrician (Victoria Electrical Licence) with a minimum of 5 years'' experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing.Strong working knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, automation, and electrical fault finding.Experience managing HV/LV switchgear maintenance and line automation.Demonstrated ability to manage a team, workloads, and coordinate contractor activities.Proficient in reading and updating electrical schematics and control circuit diagrams.A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Certifications & LicencesMandatory: Victoria Electrical Licence, Working at Heights, Confined Space (or willingness to obtain).Desirable: HV Operator certification, First Aid/CPR, additional leadership or project management training.What Youll Love When You Join UsCutting-Edge Technology: Work with advanced electrical and automation systems in a fast-paced production environment.Career Growth: Opportunities for further training and career progression.Supportive Team: Join a collaborative environment that values safety, respect, and innovation.Ready to take the next step in your career?
