Reporting to the National Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager will assist in managing the residential portfolio.Your dedication to exceptional property management helps property owners optimise their investments and feel confident that their properties are in safe hands, while ensuring that tenants feel supported and at home, encouraging a strong sense of community and long-term loyalty.This position commences as a 6 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to progress.As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include:Assisting Senior Property Manager with the management of a portfolio of residential propertiesManaging daily rent arrears, and issuing notices as required by legislation and as per clients instructionCoordinating and undertaking routine and ongoing inspectionsEnsuring all leases and management agreements are current and valid, including negotiating with relevant partiesResponding to tenant maintenance requests, and liaising with landlords and contractors to resolve issuesBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholdersReviewing rent for new tenancies and renewals by conducting market appraisals, and advising landlordsAdvertising properties onlineLiaising with potential tenants, conducting weekly viewings, and updating the landlord throughout the entire leasing processYou may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:A current Assistant Agent - Registration Certificate or Real Estate Agent Licence, or willingness to obtainPrevious experience in Residential Real Estate, preferably in Property ManagementAbility to be a self-starter and work autonomouslyExcellent reporting, negotiating and communication skillsCurrent Police Clearance, driver licence and own reliable car are essentialAvailability to work Saturdays from 10.00am to 3.00pm, with a weekday off in lieuAdvertised: 28 Feb 2025 AUS Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 28 Mar 2025 AUS Eastern Daylight Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
