Key Responsibilities: Complete Protection Needs Assessments on Prisoners Meet with prisoners to discuss their Protection Needs Research Prisoner files in preparation of Protection Needs assessments Prepare documentation with recommendations to the General Manager for approval of Protection assessments Maintain documentation within IOMS Provide statistical information to Management monthly Ensure the confidentiality of all documentation handled Review and assess all incoming and outgoing child sex offender mail and maintain associated registers in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Provide administration support to the QCS drug testing regime Provide administration support to the office as required, in particular to the Manager Provide support to Intelligence Section Manage and provide administrative functions and quality, confidential administrative support for the office as required Provide support to other staff on administrative issues and assist with the preparation of memorandums, reports and correspondence Develop, implement and evaluate work systems Other administration duties as required Assist with monitoring and maintaining the Integrated Offender Management System (IOMS) to ensure accurate statistics are available. Prepare, maintain, update and manage offender files. Ensure the security of files and appropriate access to the files by relevant staff and approved external agencies.
