Access salary packaging to increase take-home pay Part-time (38 hours per fortnight), Maximum term until 30/06/2028 Based in Ballarat About the program The Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) is an innovative and evidenced-based case management service for people experiencing long-term homelessness in Central Highlands, Victoria. This program differs from other homelessness services as it provides the time needed for people to access their permanent homes and have an improved quality of life and increased community connection. Your new role As the Workforce Participation Worker, you will provide long term case management and service coordination with low individual caseloads who have experienced chronic homelessness. In this role, you will work to ensure that the service provided is supportive and effective in achieving client educational, volunteer, employment and social inclusion goals, and program outcomes. A degree qualification relevant to the delivery of community services e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or equivalent. Candidates with Diploma qualifications and outstanding relevant experience may be considered. Demonstrated experience working within an Australian government funded employment service initiative and understanding of employment services contractual requirements Strong background in assisting job seekers experiencing high disadvantage to obtain sustainable employment Demonstrated experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders Specialist experience in homelessness and a mental health and/or drug and alcohol setting Demonstrated knowledge of trauma informed practice View the position description here .
