As of 18th of May, we will be the management team for this wonderful venue. Situated in Dalby, Dalby Aquatic Centre consists of a 25m indoor pool, 50m outdoor pool, and outdoor childrens play pool.We welcome persons of all ages and abilities to get involved in our programs such as aqua aerobics classes or GOswim swimming lessons. We are the perfect place for members of the community to make new friends while working on their health and fitness.The RoleWe are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly lifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the day-to-day pool operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools are safe and enjoyable for all patrons.You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.Skills & Attributes:Excellent verbal communication skillsAn understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facilityAbility to work mornings, evenings, and weekendsAbility to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the teamCurrent First Aid (Level 2)Current CPR CertificateBlue Card - QLD Working with Children Check & National Police checkCurrent Pool Lifeguard CertificateCurrent Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regardedDON''T HAVE ONE OF THE ABOVE ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS?
