Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our PNG Operations team, based on site in PNG on a FIFO 22:20 roster.This dynamic position will play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of projects, whilst leading multidisciplinary supervision and trades teams on site.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading our Mechanical Team across a program of works in PNGWork closely with the project teams to deliver a culture of excellence in HSSE, quality, productivity and performanceFoster relationships with internal and external customers to ensure contractual requirements are metEffectively manage and provide leadership to the onsite supervisors and trades teamAssisting with planning and scheduling the scope of work, whilst ensuring works remain in line with the project budgetIdentify and manage risk and changes in project requirements to ensure successful project deliveryBe the point of contact for project staff and client representatives for queries relating to technical or progress issuesLead safety culture, initiatives and performances.Ensure project compliance with quality and regulatory requirementsWhat you will bringExtensive on site experience in a Superintendent role, managing and coordinating a multi-disciplinary teamAustralian recognised trade certificate in a relevant disciplineExcellent working knowledge of trades and disciplines involved in project operationsDemonstrable experience resource planning, reviewing schedules and meeting tight deadlines across multiple projectsExcellent people and leadership skills including the ability to facilitate collaboration between teams, whilst working autonomouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to ensuring a safe working environmentProof of right to work in Australia and a valid passportLife at MonadelphousWe celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
