Sweat It Out is a Sydney-based record label started by the late and great AJAX.Central Station Records has a long history in the Australian dance music scene dating back to 1976.We are looking for a dynamic, music loving person to become the Design & Content Manager for key brands including Sweat It Out, Club Sweat, Central Station Records, Tinted Records, Dinky Records, October Records, Dark Machine Records and Soul Modern, and all of our artists across the rosters.The primary purpose of this role is to fulfil the creative design and content requirements & concepts that the labels require across all projects. It requires organisation, the ability to multi-task, exceptional attention to detail and highly developed communication skills.TASKS INHERENT TO THE POSITIONPrepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.Plans concepts by studying information and materials.Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.Closely work alongside the Marketing & Communications team to deliver high quality marketing assets.Be extremely confident with the Adobe Creative Suite - including programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere.Confident using other editing software such as CapCut and in-app editing such as Instagram and TikTok.Understanding of social trends and how that influences design and aesthetics for each of the main platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.Confident using a camera for video and photography work as well as editing long and short form video content (i.e. music videos, BTS content, live footage, social media, press shots, cover art).Manage shoots (planning and execution) and direct talent on set.Creation and set up of physical media such as OOH advertising and vinyl.Knowledge of AI programs and an appetite to keep up to date with tech advancements.Competent video animation experience.Responsible for the management and upkeep of the Design & Creative studio equipment.Work collaboratively with the internal team on merch.Be able to follow style guides and company branding.Closely manage and update work schedules as necessary to support its successful delivery of projects and communication to GMs.Gather feedback on music, consumer and general artwork trends from the general landscape and digital & physical channels to inform decision making regarding design-based decisions.Report weekly progress of work schedule to the business.Be creative with ideas of how to promote products and artists via digital media channels / playlists / other outlets through creative design.Stay on the forefront of artistic developments including monitoring competitor activity and new players in market.Report back to management on a regular basis, providing detailed insights and updates into current and upcoming activity.Minor website design and maintenance.Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and showing interest in trends and activity from outside sources.Ideal Experience:Minimum 2 years experience of working in a similar role.Record label experience preferable but not essential.Skills and Knowledge:Strong attention to detail.Strong graphic design skills.Strong video editing skills.Strong relationship building and stakeholders (both internal and external) management skills.Creative.Flexibility.Deadline-orientated.Clear communicator.Time-management skills.Ability to receive constructive criticism and rejection.Having strong sense of initiative.Strong problem solving skills.Able to multi-task.Works well under pressure.Ability to work well as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
