You will play a pivotal role in upholding these Values and contributing to our collective success.We are currently seeking an energized Training Officer to join the Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Training (HSSET) Department at the KCGM Super Pit.You will provide training support to the Mobile Maintenance department that is compliant with national, corporate, and legislative standards and implement a consistent, adequate, and auditable training framework.Working a 5:2 4:3 9-hour day roster, this 3-month fixed term, full-time, Kalgoorlie-based residential role allows for great work-life balance and an optimal lifestyle in the Goldfields.Key AccountabilitiesMaintain the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and practices across the site to ensure KCGM meets and/or exceeds its internal and external obligations.Provide support to Site Supervision personnel when required.Provide continuous support, guidance, and direction to personnel and contractors for all training requirements.Monitor the quality of INX training data and provide LMS support when required.Conduct and review, in conjunction with site Health & Safety and training teams, departmental training needs analysis.Continually monitor and manage training requirements of all personnel to ensure skills requirements are met.Provide high-quality training to all personnel.Maintain an accurate and full account of all training, inductions, and assessments conducted using the appropriate systems.Implement and maintain training needs and gap analysis in conjunction with relevant supervisors and stakeholders.Support the coordination of the verification of competency process including High Risk Work Licences and Nationally Accredited qualifications.RequirementsQualifications RequiredCertificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40122Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.HRWL FL & EWP ticketsDesired Experience & CompetenciesMinimum of 3 years in a similar Training roleCertificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.Working knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.Familiarity with INX database modules such as InTuition.Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.Effective delivery of training materials to crews.Mining technology and heavy production equipment.If you have a strong commitment to training & development and a continuous improvement culture, can think and act strategically, and have a strong desire to motivate and support others to achieve personal and professional goals, apply NOW!Discover the perks of working at Northern StarGold Price Variable bonus incentive.Short-term incentive bonus program.Employee Share Plan programs.Gold standard parental leave policy.GoldSTARR rewards program - cash savings for everyday expenses.Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that includes free, confidential counselling and wellbeing services.Salary continuance (income protection) insurance from commencement.Salary sacrificing benefits, including novated leasing and remote area living benefit options.Eligibility: Candidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes a medical, drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work, and valid Australian national police clearance.
