They have established themselves as a market leader in the process and manufacturing sectors.Due to growth and internal movement, we have a very exciting opportunity for a WHS Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, within this role you''ll be responsible for ensuring that the workforce is provided with a supportive, safe, and purposeful place of work, maintaining wellbeing and organisational compliance with legislation.The role:Supervising on-site compliance with WHS requirements as per the policy and legislationAssist in the operational implementation of WHS Policies, Procedures and practicesAdvise and support operational teams across WHS matters including legislative compliance, consultation, risk management, incident management and corrective actionsProvide monthly reporting on WHS complianceConduct daily monitoring checks, on-site audits, inspections, risk management activities and annual reviews as requiredFacilitate Inductions and ensure new worker understanding of key risks and requirementsParticipate in WHS projectsParticipate in or lead risk assessmentsParticipate in Safety CommitteeParticipate in internal and external auditsEnsure accurate and appropriate record keeping and managementDevelop and deliver WHS trainingWhat were looking for:WHS Certificate IV (minimum)Experience in the development and implementation of WHS documentationExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to guide and influence behaviour to achieve WHS targetsMinimum 2 years of experience in a WHS focused roleDemonstrated experience conducting Risk Management activities including risk assessmentsWorking knowledge of WHS legislationQuality Auditing qualification (OHS Management Systems preferred)Working knowledge of relevant Australian StandardsConducting ICAM investigations or similar (favourable)OHS Construction InductionSubstantial experience using Microsoft Office products and relevant industry software and programsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionExcellent communication skills for liaising with employees, departments, and managementA team player and ability to work autonomouslyStrong work ethicReliable and punctualBenefits:Negotiable salaryFull-time permanent position (night shift Monday to Friday 6pm to 2.30am)Opportunity to work with a highly supportive teamOpportunity for further training and career developmentIf youre ready for the next step in your career, APPLY TODAY!For more exciting career opportunities follow A.I.R Recruitment on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
