Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$30.00/hr - $40.00/hrAdditional compensation typesSign-on bonusIdentifying, engaging, and hiring the top performers exclusively in HEAT TREAT.Maintenance - comm''l heat treatThe Maintenance Supervisor is a working supervisor position, which performs the work and provides daily supervision for the maintenance department engaged in the operational maintenance of production equipment and facilities buildings/grounds.Core Responsibilities and DutiesPlan, schedule, supervise and perform routine and assigned work including but not limited to; preventive maintenance and repair work on vacuum/air furnaces, on HVAC and other building systems, and direct supervision of the maintenance employeesCollaborate closely with Company President, Plant Manager and Production Supervisor to identify equipment problems and properly schedule the workload to handle issues in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure all vacuum, tool, devices, and other production equipment required calibrations are current and within industry standardsManage and maintain the maintenance and preventive maintenance programs and software (CMMS) for all electrical, mechanical and equipment repair, upgrades, and installation to ensure safe operation with minimum downtimeTroubleshoot all electrical and mechanical issues related to vacuum furnaces and all other production equipment. Some of these repairs include equipment such as pumps, blowers, and diffusion pumps, plus graphite and all metal vacuum hot zonesManage availability and ordering of spare parts, maintenance and building supplies, plus other services related to production, building maintenance or grounds upkeepCoordinates with production, management, and other departments in scheduling of maintenance activities to minimize production interruptions or downtimeRespond to off hour critical calls to resolve production equipment and building facilities issuesOther Job FunctionsStrictly adhere to all company safety and quality standards, as outlined in company policies, and proceduresComply with all company policies and guidelines, including those in the employee handbook and other internal documentsFoster positive and professional working relationships with co-workers, vendors, suppliers, and customersDemonstrate initiative by suggesting improvements to responsibilities or enhancing productivityWillingly accept new assignments and responsibilities when requiredDisplays high ethical standards in actions and decisionsPossesses a comprehensive understanding of the organization''s mission and strategy and translate it into practical actions which help achieve objectives, priorities, and goalsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years facility maintenance experience in heat treating, metals or manufacturing industry production setting with familiarity of vacuum furnace repairKnowledge of safety and environmental regulations and compliance standards (OSHA, ISO, ASM, etc.).Strong computer and software working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel, Studio 5000 and Wonderware, plus ability to interpret and modify Ladder Logic diagrams with RS LogixAbility to read, analyze and interpret both mechanical and electrical schematic, blueprints, and technical journals, plus financial reports, and other legal documentsAble to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsKnowledge of preventive maintenance software productsStrong pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical experience, plus prior work with PLCsPreferred Qualifications4-year degree in electrical, mechanical or maintenance related field2 plus years managerial level experience in heat treat or manufacturing roleExtensive experience and knowledge of vacuum/air furnace equipment, pumps, hot zones, and other equipment used in a heat-treating environment.This is an ideal position for an experienced maintenance professional or field service engineer who is targeting a long-term career with a dynamic, fast-growing company.
