The preferred location of this role is Adelaide, however other locations will be considered.Reporting to the Head of Audit and Ethics, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Ethics Program across the Australian Business in accordance with the BAE Systems Business Conduct Strategy through effective management, communication and reporting against the program objectives and deliverables.The Ethics Officer community deployed across the Australian Business supports the Ethics Manager by providing a wide-reaching communication channel to maintain and uphold the expected conduct of the workforce. Equally, the Ethics Manager supports the Ethics Officers through ongoing capability development and advice.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, with options of working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.Key responsibilities include:Manage the roll out of the annual Business Conduct Training to all employeesOversee, train and coach Ethics Officers, including refreshing the Ethics Officer network where requiredProvide regular reporting to the Head of Audit and Ethics Australia and to the Group Ethics Governance functionsEvaluate and coordinate the management and resolution of Ethics issues and sensitive personal matters with other functions of the Australian Business, including the conduct of investigations and oversight of actions where appropriateAbout YOUPrior experience working in the Business Conduct, Human Resources and/or Legal fieldExperience in the conduct of corporate workplace investigations and reportingExtensive experience in dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisationExperience in the application of employment relations and whistleblower practicesExceptional interpersonal skills and confidence in facilitating training to a wide audienceTertiary qualifications in Australian Industrial Relations Law, Human Resources, Business or Commerce highly desirableAbility to work flexibly where some evening calls with the UK will be requiredAbility to travel domestic and international (occasionally) as requiredWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don''t tick all the boxes.
