We strive for perfection, and our commitment to delivering the finest work is unwavering.Production Supervisor Cabinetry & JoineryAbout The RoleSince we became the sole supplier to GemLife, we have had an increase in the volume of kitchens and other cabinetry required at our multiple locations. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our cabinetry manufacturing team. In this key role, you will ensure efficient production workflows, maintain high-quality standards, minimize rework and overtime, and effectively manage a skilled workforce.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & WorkflowWork closely with the General Manager and scheduling team to prioritize jobs and maintain steady workflow progress.Oversee production planning from inception to completion, ensuring timelines align with productivity benchmarks.Identify and address potential delays or bottlenecks in production, communicating issues promptly.Quality Control & EfficiencyConduct final inspections to ensure all cabinetry meets the highest quality standards before installation.Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to minimize defects and rework.Analyse root causes of lost productivity and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.Continuously review production processes to optimize workflow and performance.Team Leadership & People ManagementProvide guidance and support to cabinetmakers and apprentices, fostering a high-performing team.Lead a skilled workforce with a focus on continuous development, training, and workplace safety.Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, promoting a strong safety culture.About YouQualified Cabinetmaker with hands-on experience in cabinetry and joinery production.Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment.Strong understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and quality assurance.Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.Excellent communication and people management skills.A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to safety and quality.Why Join Us?Gemstone is part of GemLife, one of Australia''s fastest-growing developers of luxury over 50s residential resorts.
