PERSOLKELLY is one of Australia''s largest and longest serving recruitment providers, delivering both quality temporary and permanent options.PERSOLKELLY brings together the legacy and experience of four organisations that shaped the staffing landscape over the past century: Kelly Services, who pioneered the modern temporary help industry in 1946; SKILLED, who crafted the staffing industry in Australia in 1964; Programmed, the leading provider of operations and maintenance services across Australia and New Zealand; and PERSOLKELLY, the largest workforce solutions provider in APAC.Role Summary:Responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll and providing general payroll-related support to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll operations.Reporting Structure:Reports to: Chief Financial OfficerFunctional Relationships:Works closely with Human Resources and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.Work Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (38 hours per week)Key Responsibilities:Process payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely maintenance of the payroll system.Verify and manage attendance records through the time recording system for payroll processing.Maintain and update personnel files, ensuring compliance and proper record-keeping.Assist in the administration of Workcover-related files.Provide accurate and timely payroll reports and advisory support.Offer relief for all payroll-related tasks within the department when needed.Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll and employee records.Assist with general payroll administration as required.Identify and implement process improvements within the payroll function.Qualifications & Essential Criteria:Experience in payroll processing (experience with systems like Preceda, TMS, Chris, or similar is an advantage).Strong understanding of awards and entitlements.High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Effective time management and multitasking abilities.Work Health & Safety Responsibilities:Work safely and ensure actions do not impact the health or safety of others.Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the appropriate supervisor or manager.Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.Avoid working under the influence of alcohol or drugs that may impact safety.Code of Conduct:Treat colleagues, clients, and stakeholders with courtesy and respect.Maintain integrity and professionalism in all work activities.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and lawful directives.Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and diligence in duties.Contribute to the company''s success by upholding high-quality work standards.Quality & Compliance:Follow all relevant industry regulations and best practices, including HACCP, ISO standards, and applicable laws.This job description provides an overview of the responsibilities and may be subject to review or amendment based on business requirements.If you are interested in this role and fit the criteria, please apply online today!
