Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: EmployeeMotor Claims OfficerLocation: Adelaide, SAType: Permanent, Full-time positionThe opportunityAt QBE its not just what we do, but how we do it we are a diverse team of insurance professionals with a focus on service excellence for our valued customers and stakeholders.This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team looking after motor claims within Elders portfolio.You will ideally have claims experience although if you have exceptional call centre/customer service experience and are keen to learn a new industry this could also be the opportunity for you!Your new role Promote QBEs products and services through fostering great relationships with customers and stakeholders, showcasing our QBEDNA and company valuesProvide an exceptional operational and customer service experience for diverse internal and external stakeholders including our customers, Elders Agent, organisations, and partnershipsProcess claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring that claims are documented correctly, and resolved with a prompt and effective outcomeDeliver high quality customer service and develop a good working relationship with all customers and service providersManage claims using the appropriate external and internal specialists to achieve the settlement outcome efficiently and effectivelyEnhance and develop your own technical expertise and participate in professional development and training where requiredAbout you To be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience within insurance claims is highly advantageous although not mandatoryPrevious experience in call centre, customer service and/or administrationStrong customer service skills with a highly supportive approachA passion for making a difference and helping people in their time of needAn engaging and courteous phone manner with the ability to type and talk concurrentlyAbility to handle multiple and competing tasks to meet customer needsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to critically assess and analyse tasksAbout QBEWe can never really predict whats around the corner, but at QBE were asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
