Your focus will be on the Service Transition suite of practices.You will be responsible for Service Transition within Integration platforms; this includes partners, platform and delivery teams. You will collaborate with colleagues and team members to deliver quality capability objectives that are aligned with quality measurement and enablement objectives.You will support and enable the design, planning, implementation and release of service management automation enablement capabilities and aspects of service reliability engineering across the platform. You will act as a service custodian of the Integration technology products/assets.We are looking for someone with good operational experience & technical appreciation of shared service enterprise platforms and exceptional vendor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive and develop mutually strong relationships.Key responsibilities include:Provide input into a framework for Integration Platform Service Integration and Management, including any required tooling, internal capabilities, and standardisation.Ensure Service Transition processes for Integration Platforms are defined, documented, adopted and maintained.Provide regular management reporting on Integration Platforms Service Transition performance.Work collaboratively with enterprise service management to define and maintain a collective enterprise definition of service and service level objectives, aligned with overall business goals.Provide continuous operational support for the metrics and associated measurement plans related to Integration Platform Service, including operational definitions / operational processes.Provide operational support to adopt platform and service measurements in the Integration engineering teams with a focus on achieving enterprise quality outcomes.Support the integration of ways of working into contributing frameworks or processes, such as risk management, project management, delivery management etc.About you and your skillsExtensive IT experience, across a diverse range and scale of operational roles in agile and hybrid environments, within a variety of operating and delivery models including operation support.Demonstrated experience in defining, delivering and governing the operational elements of Service Transition frameworks including Change Mgmt, Release & Deployment, Change Evaluation, Service Transition planning, Asset Mgmt and Configuration Mgt.Demonstrated experience in defining and delivering operational excellence across the IT Service Management and SIAM practices.Experience and understanding of operational Asset Management and Configuration Management practices including supporting asset lifecycle activities, configuration management QA, support for Product Owners with asset health.Develop and mature the Integration Platform practices for the Configuration Management DB to uplift quality of information.Be able to work collaboratively with all teams including Developers, Engineers, Testers, Technical Leads, Project Managers, IT Leadership, to ensure that project deliverables meet expected Change QA levels.Experience in engaging with leaders and stakeholders through the Service Transition delivery lifecycle.Proven experience delivering service management transformation and enablement transitions for ways of working.Demonstrable exposure to and extensive knowledge of IT services principles and frameworks including ITIL, process tools (ServiceNow), frameworks and best practice methods.Understanding of service and product management principles and implementations in complex enterprise environments.ITIL Foundation qualification (ITILv3/ITIL4).Demonstrable understanding of using a Software Delivery Lifecycle.Hands-on experience of ITSM controls, risk management and best practices.Experience of defining and implementing frameworks and processes across ITIL and SIAM frameworks.Key Tools: ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, project planning and release management tools (e.g. MS Project).Were looking for someone who has a range of Service Management expertise across multiple ITIL practices, but has chosen to make Service Transition capabilities their specialty.
