We also offer home care services in multiple states and manage over 700 units in various retirement villages and independent living communities.Key Responsibilities:End-of-Month Reconciliations: Lead the month-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and overseeing bank reconciliations.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports in line with organisational requirements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Handle GST, FBT returns, and assist with audits, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of internal controls, suggest process improvements, and support efficient financial systems.Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Manager, operational teams, and other stakeholders to align financial goals and provide support and guidance to junior staff.What Were Looking For:Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce (with an accounting major) and a CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it).Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience with a strong background in month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
