In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing and inventory planning functions across our growing retail and consumer health product lines. Based in our modern offices in Mount Waverley, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless sourcing of quality materials, risk mitigation, and cost reductions for both new and existing products. You will lead the charge in supplier relationship management, process improvement, and supply chain innovation to support our expanding business.Some of the key areas you''ll look after areDeveloping and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver quality materials for new and existing products whilst continuously mitigating associated riskEnsuring quality products are delivered on time, in full, while meeting operational requirementsNegotiating price, service and payment terms to secure the best value and qualityManaging inventory levels, MRP cycles, and purchase orders to align with demand forecastsBuilding collaborative and transparent relationships with suppliers to drive innovation, market intelligence and strategic buying to ensure continuity of demand long termMonitor supplier performance and quality, identifying opportunities for improvementManage the procurement of all raw materials, finished goods and other supplies to meet production and sales targetsMaintain robust reporting and KPI tracking to measure purchasing and planning effectivenessSome of the skills and experience you might bring to this role could beMinimum 5 years'' experience in a procurement, planning or supply chain management, ideally within the Pharma, FMCG or other related industryExperience in managing supplier relationships and understanding their supply chain challengesOrganic and TGA experience preferred but not essentialExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesKnowledge of inventory management, demand planning and procurement best practicesStrong business acumen with an emphasis on strategy development and implementationDegree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field (APICS certification desirable)Why should you work with usBe part of a fun, hardworking team that lives and breathes what we do and enjoy some fantastic perks along the way.Flexible Work - we understand that there is life outside of work which is why we are committed to providing a flexible work environment.
