UGL is seeking a talented and experienced Store Person to join our rail division in Bassendean, WA. Reporting to the store supervisor, you will work within the stores looking after parts and items for maintenance of rolling stock, wagons, and locomotives.If youre passionate about maintaining high standards and have a can-do attitude, wed love to hear from you!This role will work in a team of 3 rotating on 2 shifts: 6.00am 2.30pm (2 out of 3 weeks) and 9:00am to 5:30pm (1 out of 3 weeks).About the RoleAs a Store Person at UGL, you will be responsible for:Receipting and Quality Control: Ensure products from outside vendors meet quality standards.Efficient Storage: Safe and organized storage of parts within the main warehouse, sub-warehouse, and outside storage areas.Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading/unloading of trucks for stock arrival and dispatch.Pick & Pack: Accurate and timely picking and packing of orders.Stocktaking: Perform regular stocktakes and cycle counts.Inventory Management: Process transactions using UGLs inventory management systems.Compliance: Adhere to all record-keeping requirements to ensure compliance.About YouWe are looking for someone with:Forklift LF Qualifications: Practical experience operating counterbalance and high-reach forklifts in warehouse and yard environments.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.Computer Proficiency: Skills in MS Word, Excel, and email.
