If you want to help shape the future of Frankston, now is the time to join our team!About the positionCouncils Business Information & Technology Department is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of a replacement Asset Management System across the organisation.The main responsibilities will include:Deliver the implementation of the new Asset Management Information System project to successful completion within allocated budget, schedule, and to expected quality in accordance with Councils Project Management Guidelines and procedures.Develop strong and positive relationships with project stakeholders, using effective communication methods to manage expectations and keep stakeholders informed of the project process and status.Coordinate the data schema, development, and implementation of all asset class and component data structures in the Asset Management Information System.Undertake and manage business requirements, gathering and analysis duties according to Councils Business Analysis Guidelines.Ensure compliance with all Privacy Legislation and treat all information of a personal and sensitive nature concerning the business of Council, Ratepayers, or Residents in a professional and confidential manner.This is a full time role working 38 hours per week, fixed term role for 24 months.About youExtensive experience in project management, particularly in implementing complex systems, and data analysis and management processes.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Project Management, or Business Analysis, and a Project Management Professional certification or equivalent industry experience.Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), experience in Information Systems development, implementation, and administration.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.Self-motivated, professional, maintains integrity and confidentiality, and has a proven ability to manage time, set priorities, and plan work to meet organisational demands.Benefits of working at Frankston City CouncilBe part of a workplace that is looking to transform the way that we work and build on our values Kinder, Fairer, Smarter.
