Costco caters to both businesses and individual members, selling high-quality nationally and internationally brand name merchandise at substantially lower prices consistently below traditional wholesale or retail sources.Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break room, and restrooms by operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery, and by sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping. Follows departmental procedures and standards for cleanliness and performance of duties. Restocks supplies.Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse. Pulls merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from sales floor. Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler.Follows daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.Follows safety and security procedures. Correct use of PPE. Responds quickly to clean up spills.Paints, replaces bulbs, maintains equipment, and performs routine repairs throughout warehouse. Assists in building displays and fixtures.Maintains grounds outside warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, and building maintenance.General upkeep on the warehouse with handyman type tasks.Provides prompt and courteous member service.Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:Assists with front end duties as necessary.Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.Applicants will need to be available between the hours of 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM, working a minimum of 24 hours a week, including weekends.Costco is a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
