We provide frontline HR advisory support and coaching to leaders, making a real impact across our operations and functional teams.Who were looking forWe''re seeking expressions of interest from HR professionals who can enhance employee engagement within Rio Tinto. This will involve implementing regular feedback and recognition systems, promoting benefits programs, and ensuring effective communication channels. The work involved is designed to significantly boost morale, productivity, and overall satisfaction among employees.Reporting to the Human Resources Team Lead, you will:Build and foster great partnerships with portfolio stakeholders and shared service partners to enhance collaboration and trust.Advise and coach leaders on employee relations matters with a focus on early intervention and people-centric approaches to boost engagement.Contribute to HR Projects and organizational and cultural change initiatives that drive employee involvement and commitment.Build leader capability in HR systems and processes to ensure leaders are equipped to engage their teams effectively.Demonstrate commitment and understanding of business needs as a trusted partner, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose among employees.Exhibit depth in critical thinking, prioritization, and problem solving to address employee concerns and enhance engagement.Navigate Competing Priorities effectively to maintain focus on employee engagement and satisfaction.What youll bring2+ years HR generalist experienceStrong knowledge of the Australian Employment Law framework and best practices for applying relevant legislationSignificant experience in handling complex workplace investigations and providing guidance on performance managementCapacity to operate effectively in a large, shared service human resources teamExcellent skills in stakeholder engagement, influencing, coaching, communication, negotiation and consultationWhere you will be workingThese roles will be fly in, fly out roles supporting the Iron Ore group for Rio Tinto.About Rio TintoRio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
