This role presents a fantastic opportunity for experienced personnel looking to take the next step in their leadership career. Youll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.Reporting to the MEM Superintendent, the role will require you to:Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operationsFoster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practicesCollaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of dutiesLead, coach and develop a team of Light Mobile Equipment Maintenance personnelOrganise and manage the execution of Maintenance work performedResponsible for Light Mobile Equipment Maintenance training, safety compliance, scheduling and productivityManage Maintenance activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impactDefine staffing and development needs of Light Mobile Equipment MaintenanceEnsure compliance to relative legislation, including statutory obligationsManage scheduled and planned maintenance with the shift crew to complete required maintenance activitiesAllocate and coordinate planned maintenance activities using the Rio Tinto workflow management principlesWhat youll bringA current "C Class" WA Manual Drivers LicenseTrade Qualification in Mobile Maintenance is highly desirableAppointment as Statutory Supervisor under WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26A commitment to the safety of yourself and your teamRespect for others and an all-inclusive mindsetDemonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback and collaboration whilst bringing the team on a journey of continuous developmentWhat we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing youve helped the world progress.
