This role involves coordinating catering services, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position also includes managing stock control and overseeing rosters, stock ordering, menu changes, liaison with residents regarding individual needs, and attending Resident Meetings.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating and participating in meal preparation and presentation.Ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned according to standards.Performing stock control, including ordering and quality checks.Ensuring compliance with Accreditation Standards in all hospitality areas.Overseeing rosters.Liaison with residents regarding individual needs and attending Resident Meetings.What you can bring to the teamThe successful candidate will have a chef trade qualification or equivalent experience, with applied knowledge of catering, cleaning, and laundry procedures, including cooking texture-modified meals and thickened fluids. They will have experience with legislation relevant to hospitality services and operational achievement of accreditation standards, including holding a Food Safety Certificate.
