In return, you will be a valued team member, be offered flexibility, and experience a meaningful career in an exciting, ever-evolving aviation industry.The Role & The TeamAs Standards and Capability Manager within the EPMO, reporting to the Head of EPMO, you will lead a team to establish and embed the Portfolio, Program and Project Management (P3M) Framework, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices such as MoP, MSP, and various project management methodologies. While not entirely a greenfield function, your expertise will build, refine, modify, and enhance existing processes to drive successful execution across transformation portfolios.You will also develop and hold the single-view on the enterprise-wide resource capability requirements for those involved in Portfolio, Program and Project delivery. This includes the development and implementation of professional standards, performance metrics, and assessing capability gaps with a view to uplift, train, and coach skillsets across common areas of development.Working closely with other EPMO functions and Portfolio, Program and Project Managers, you will ensure a consistent approach to achieving group and business outcomes.Minimum RequirementsPortfolio, Program and/or Project management qualifications, with supporting experience.Extensive experience in leading project management framework and methodology development, with in-depth understanding of best practices (PMBoK, Prince 2, MSP, MoP, Agile).Demonstrated experience in how to define, assess and drive capability uplift in a complex environment.Demonstrated sound judgement and business acumen, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment.Demonstrated values-based leadership, and ability to build organisational capability and culture.Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation.Diversity of experience across the private and public sectors is desirable.A minimum of 15 years working directly in Portfolios, Programs or Projects.Security ClearanceTo be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident as an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role.
