Of course, along with Great Brands, and Great Assets, the other vital ingredient in our recipe for success is GREAT PEOPLE, and that is where you come in!The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sourcing Manager to lead and drive the sourcing of both direct and indirect products and services. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will ensure that our procurement activities align with business forecasts, budgetary goals, and customer service targets while optimising total value outcomes for Patties Food Group. The role will include but not be limited to:Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to develop and implement sourcing strategies and category plans that optimize total value for Patties Group.Lead negotiations and manage long-term supplier relationships to ensure supply stability, adherence to budgets, and alignment with contractual terms.Drive procurement activities that achieve the best value outcomes through effective contract management and strategic sourcing.Prepare and manage procurement budgets for each category, ensuring adherence to Purchasing Price Variance (PPV) targets.Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize purchasing strategies, and mitigate financial risks (e.g., raw material costs, obsolescence, and working capital).Report on supplier performance, financial risks, and recommend action plans to ensure adherence to KPIs and contractual obligations.Select suppliers by preparing RFP documents, evaluating proposals, and ensuring alignment with Patties Groups business needs and ESG policies.Manage the negotiation and implementation of contracts, ensuring all legal documentation is up-to-date and properly managed.Lead continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and across manufacturing to achieve favourable operational and budgetary outcomes.The PersonThe ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships. You''ll be responsible for identifying cost-effective suppliers, ensuring the best quality products, and maintaining strong vendor partnerships. You will obtain the following skills and experience:Minimum two years experience in FMCG supply chain/procurement roles.University degree or equivalent education.Ideally, an additional qualification, such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (or equivalent), APICS or MBA.Strong financial and commercial acumen.Good contract and project management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.What we offer youAt Patties Food Group we are passionate about our people, brands and culture!
