GOTAFE keeps the student at the heart of everything they do and has the power to transform lives through accessible education for all.Reporting to the Executive Director Student Experience, the Chief Attraction & Marketing Officer is responsible for leading the strategic direction for all marketing, events and attraction activities to grow student numbers and enhance GOTAFEs reputation as a leader in vocational education and training. This role includes creating outbound attraction strategies, providing strategic advice to the CEO and Board, and contributing to long-term organisational planning. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with local industries and stakeholders, influencing organisational actions to increase student enrolments, and leading a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. Governance, risk management, and maintaining high standards of ethical conduct while driving a high-performance culture are essential components of this role.To be considered for this role, you are a proven senior leader in marketing, communications and/or Event Management with significant experience in leading and developing multi-disciplined teams to achieve student and stakeholder outcomes. You have a strong track record in delivering results through strategic planning, excellent communication, and negotiation skills in complex stakeholder environments. As a collaborative leader, you are renowned for building relationships that drive shared success and demonstrate an ability to identify emerging trends and provide innovative solutions. You would have proven experience working in a large complex organisation within education, government, health or other closely aligned environments. You demonstrate strong community values and a passion for lifelong learning. A relevant qualification in Marketing, Business or Commerce is essential.GOTAFE are pleased to offer hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate can be based in Melbourne and travel to the offices in Seymour, Wangaratta or Shepparton at least two days per week.
