Our core focus is the relationship between residents, colleagues, and family members, with our residents and team at the heart of what we do.Backed by a dedicated team of over 8500 employees, we strive to uphold our core values of Relationships, Uniqueness, Partnerships, and Flexibility, earning us a reputation that speaks for itself.Your key responsibilitiesAs a key leader in the People and Culture team, youll drive Arcares Work Health & Safety strategy, ensuring best practices are deeply embedded across our multi-site operations.Leading a small yet high-performing team across VIC, QLD, and NSW, you will:Champion Safety & Compliance Develop and implement best practice WHS management systems and rehabilitation frameworks.Drive Continuous Improvement Develop and monitor the WHS Improvement Plan, ensuring ongoing refinement of safety and injury management systems.Establish robust governance structures, providing senior leaders with clear risk insights and compliance assurance.Lead with Influence Coach and inspire all levels of the organisation to seamlessly integrate safety into everyday operations.Accelerate Recovery & Well-being Spearhead early intervention programs and return-to-work strategies that genuinely make a difference.Investigate & Innovate Oversee serious incident investigations, analysing trends and implementing smart solutions that prevent recurrence.Shape the Future Identify emerging risks, design training programs, and create a legacy of proactive safety leadership.What You BringYou are a safety leader who knows how to turn compliance into culture. Your background includes:Proven success leading WHS strategies across multi-site organisations.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing WHS team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety.Deep expertise in workplace safety legislation and systematic safety management.Aged Care or Healthcare experience (preferred) understanding the nuances of our industry.A positive, professional, and adaptable leadership approach that inspires confidence.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage at all levels.A strategic mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement impactful solutions.Why Arcare?A People-First Culture At Arcare, relationships are at the core of everything we do.
